Conference on "Science and Technology Landscape in a Changing World - Enhancing U.S. Collaboration with the EU and its Member States"

On 12 December 2011 the conference Science and Technology Landscape in a Changing World – Enhancing US Collaboration with the EU and its Member States will be held in Washington DC under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU and organized with the EU Delegation, science counselors from the Embassies of Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain and Sweden, and in cooperation with the AAAS.
The purpose of the conference is to provide an opportunity to review existing experiences and explore perspectives to enhance transatlantic collaboration in ST&I. The conference will act as a building block for the EU and Member States Pilot Initiative USA, which will be developed within the framework of the Strategic Forum (SFIC). The conference will follow up on the workshop From Common Challenges to Joint Responses – Adding a New Dimension to EU/MS Cooperation with the USA in Science, Technology and Innovation, organized by the SFIC and hosted in October by the German Permanent Representation in Brussels.
The BILAT -USA project as well as the Link2US project will be introduced in the frame of "PANEL I: Challenges of Transatlantic R&D Collaborations", introducing latest results and activities!
