BILAT-USA to Participate in the BIO International Convention in June 2011

On 29 June 2011, as part of the 2011 BIO International Convention, the BILAT-USA project hosted an IPR workshop at the European Commission’s booth.  Workshop participants were invited to attend, in order to identify and discuss the most common limitations or constraints that create obstacles for U.S. researcher/institution participation in the Framework Programme. The workshop was conceived as follow-on to the December 2009 event “Legal Discussion Workshop on Opportunities & Challenges of the 7th Framework Program for Research”, organised during th EU delegation’s visit to the United States.
