EC Open Information Day on FP7 Health research and FP7 Health Partnering event

May 29, 2012 - May 30, 2012

Brussels, Belgium

On 29 May 2012 the European Commission (Research & Innovation DG - Directorate Health) is organizing an Open Information Day on FP7 Health research. The event aims to highlight the novelties in the planning of the 2013 Work Programme due to be published in Summer 2012.

The programme will consit of plenary sessions and several parallel sessions on participating in FP7 Health; this event also foresees opportunities for information exchange and networking, in particular at the fair where various service providers will give information to participants.

On 30 May 2012 a partnering event is jointly organised by the two projects "Fit for Health" and "Health-NCP-Net".

The main part of the day will be dedicated to bilateral meetings between researchers interested in the same call area. A surrounding programme will provide information on what makes a good consortium and give researchers from SME and academia interested in SME-targeted topics and those from countries outside Europe a platform to present their project ideas in 5-minute presentations.

Bilateral meetings will be arranged automatically by a user-friendly match-making tool following indication of interests in specific call areas by participants. Additionally to bilateral meetings among potential project partners, participants will have the option to meet with representatives of support initiatives and members of the organising projects for personalised support and information.
