Apr 26, 2012

University of California, Nicholas C. Petris Center on Health Care Markets and Consumer Welfare, Berkeley, USA and Babes-Bolyai University, Center for Health Policy and Public Health, Cluj-Napoca, Romania seek to build a collaborative network of mental health experts and to train the next generation of researchers and decision makers in the field of mental health in South-Eastern Europe. This initiative will start with a kick-off meeting held 6-9 June 2012 in Croatia, Dubrovnik. The kick-off meeting will be followed by two calls for grant proposals. The application for grant proposals will not be in any way conditioned by the participation to the kick-off meeting. However, participating to the kick-off meeting would help to better understand the requirements of the grant proposals and to very early on interact with future mentors and potential trainees.

Researchers from Albania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania and Serbia who want to benefit from an advanced, multidisciplinary research training in the latest research methods and issues regarding the economic and social factors that influence or drive the delivery of mental health care services, are kindly invited to apply for the call for applications in order to participate to the Fogarty Fellowship Meeting in Croatia, Dubrovnik – the kick-off meeting of the international program REMASTER - Research Training Structure: Socio-Economics of Mental Health Delivery in South-Eastern Europe.
