ICT 2010: A new platform is enhancing EU-US S&T cooperation within the EU FP7 projects BILAT-USA and Link2U

On 28 September 2010 BILAT-USA and Link2US are organising a networking session within the framework of ICT 2010.

This awareness raising workshop on EU-US S&T cooperation shall introduce the two EU FP7 projects BILAT-USA and Link2US which aim at advancing EU and US S&T cooperation.

Analyses of US collaborative funding schemes and participation rules shall help European researchers in understanding the US funding system and foster EU and US S&T cooperation. 

The new Trans-Atlantic online platform shall be presented, giving researchers from the EU and Associated States access to EU-US S&T agreements, documents and publications, related S&T news and much more. 

In a panel discussion researchers from the EU and Associated States shall get insight information from representatives of the European Commission and a US government scientific unit regarding funding opportunities and obstacles to cooperation. Experiences made in EU-US partnerships shall be exchanged and ICT related questions shall be dealt with.
