Technology Transfer Management Training Workshop

Purpose & Scope

A training workshop on technology transfer management will be organized on 4 October 2011 by the BILAT-USA project in collaboration with Luxinnovation GIE, the National Agency for Promotion of Innovation and Research in Luxembourg.

The purpose of the training workshop is to provide insights with regard to the importance of technology transfer issues in Europe, share good practice examples both from Europe and the U.S., contribute to overcome shortages of skilled people in the technology transfer area and increase the capacity and knowledge of research institutes and organizations as well as technology companies on this topic.

The workshop intends to bring the experience and expertise of technology transfer firms, research organisations, universities, intellectual property and commercialization experts who will discuss innovation management and technology transfer and present good practice examples from both the EU and the U.S.
