Marketing food and beverages for children: setting acceptable standards
This proposal offers a comparative analysis of current EU and US policies with
respect to the child health and obesity, specifically in relation to food and beverage
marketing. It offers deeper transatlantic exchanges on best preventive practices, and
specifically addresses a current "hot" topic for child obesity: does industry selfregulation
work or are stronger standards required?
